The West of Scotland KTP Centre has recently received Grant Offer Letters for the following projects:

  • Barr Limited and the University of Strathclyde. The project aims to identify energy usage and develop a monitoring system for optimum use, implementing an energy and carbon reduction strategy in line with the sustainability agenda. 
  • Fearsom UK Limited and Glasgow Caledonian University. The project aims to embed best practice environmentally sustainable design methods within the new product development process and implement processes for the origination, development and commercialisation of in-house products. 
  • Biofilm Limited and the University of Strathclyde. The project aims to develop fast dissolving films containing active pharmaceutical ingredients.
  • Cooper Software Limited and the University of the West of Scotland. The project aims to develop a process for creating compelling software products that are appropriate to a wide user base through careful assessment of the available markets.
  • If Only Holidays Limited and Glasgow Caledonian University. The project aims to develop and deploy novel computing solutions to automate the generation of tailor-made holiday packages and to improve visibility on the Web.
  • UK Whitegoods Limited and the University of the West of Scotland. The project aims to move from a basic data driven web portal to a knowledge driven white goods ecosystem.
