Smarter Grid Solutions (SGS) provides innovative smart grid control systems and power systems consultancy for power companies. Thier products and services help network operators connect more low carbon technologies to the existing grid and defer or remove the need for expensive and time-consuming grid reinforcements. SGS are located in Glasgow.

SGS are currently working with the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde to embed new testing techniques in support of ongoing product development and sales into the rapidly expanding Smart Grid marketplace.

This project is ongoing and being supported by the West of Scotland KTP Centre.
