Highland provides galvanizing and powder coating. They are currently working with the School of Engineering & Built Environment at Glasgow Caledonian University to reveal knowledge about the phenomenon known as “gassing” and hence optimise production yield, quality and scope in powdercoating on galvanized steel.

Rossyew was established with the aim of offering an efficient by-product collection service to the Scottish Salmon industry and producing value added ingredients for the pet food and feed industry. They are currently working with the Department of Chemical and Process Engineering at the University of Strathclyde to increase the yield of higher value Salmon oil from Salmon viscera by reducing the residual oil content in the lower value protein product.
