It enjoyed a successful collaboration with the University of Strathclyde for this Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP). Cartwright Pickard Architects was founded in 1996 by Peter Cartwright and James Pickard. The team’s experience includes innovative residential projects, educational buildings, award winning workplace buildings, master planning of major mixed use urban developments and major headquarter office buildings. They are currently working with the Mackintosh Environmental Architecture Research Unit at the Glasgow School of Art to develop and embed the capability to undertake detailed performance evaluation in sustainable, low energy housing and utilise findings to influence future architectural design.
