They are currently working with the School of Engineering & Built Environment at Glasgow Caledonian University to reveal knowledge about the phenomenon known as “gassing” and hence optimise production yield, quality and scope in powdercoating on galvanized steel.

They are currently working with the Department of Chemical and Process Engineering at the University of Strathclyde to develop and implement a Process Analytical Technology platform for measurements of key product and process attributes, sophisticated multivariate analysis, and modelling of inorganic material production.

I.D.E.A.S. have provided the Oil, Gas and Petro-Chemical industry with a centre of excellence for specialist engineering services since 1985. They are currently working with the Centre for Ultrasonic Engineering at the University of Strathclyde to develop a capability in non-destructive testing using acoustic emissions for incorporation into a service tool for integrity measurement.
