Roswell IT Services Limited & Motherwell College
Roswell IT Services Limited and Motherwell College were awarded a Knowledge Transfer Partnership on 4 March 2009. This is the first KTP project for Motherwell College and since signing the KTP Contract with Roswell IT Services the college has developed a Knowledge Transfer 'Hub' which already has more than 100 company members. It is hoped that the Knowledge Transfer 'Hub' will open many more opportunities for KTPs with Motherwell College to be successfully established in the not to distant future.
The project with Roswell IT Services Limited will aim to develop CRM capability within the company along with development of relevant documentation for specifying client requirements.
Hugh Logan, Principal and Chief Executive of Motherwell College said:
"We are delighted to be working with Roswell IT Services Limited. There has been real enthusiasm and support for the partnership from all involved. "
Jim Craig, Director of Roswell IT Services Limited added:
" This is an ideal situation for us where we can develop our business with the support of the College through this KTP. It also gives a graduate the chance to work with us in pushing out the boundaries of new technology."
The Partnership Launch Meeting (PLM) took place on 15 April 2009.
The KTP Associate, Mr David Small, started on 31 August 2009. David says:
"I am very proud to be the first KTP Associate in conjunction with Motherwell College. I am looking forward to the challenge of working with Roswell and the College during this interesting yet demanding project. The project will not only enhance Roswell's developing a product and future growth but will help me develop my programming and business skills."
David recently visited the KTP Centre for his Associate Induction.
