W H Tildesley has reached the half-way stage of its Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) project with the University of Strathclyde. The KTP Associate, Nthambe Singo has been working with WHT’s Engineering and Production teams with support from the University’s Department of Design Manufacture & Engineering Management (DMEM) and Advanced Forming Research Centre (AFRC) to improve the company’s understanding of the behaviour of materials during the forging process.
