Vector Photonics

Vector Photonics is a pre-revenue spin out from the University of Glasgow. Founded in 2020, our patented award-winning technology unlocks the next generation of semiconductor-lasers. By embedding 2D-photonic crystal gratings with the laser we create enhanced surface emitted power, wavelength control, beam quality and steering. Our technology has won multiple awards from the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) as well as being shortlisted for the final of kickstart challenge and the semi-final of coverage challenge, as well as being accepted onto the RBS accelerator in Glasgow.
